STACY KREJCI

Elementary Teacher

Since 2009

With a depth of knowledge and understanding of Montessori methods, Stacy brings a thoughtful approach to education. She motivates her students by empowering them to strive to their fullest potential. She challenges the children to excel and to develop a strong work ethic. Don’t believe us, just ask any of her students.

It is such a rare experience to see Ms. Krejci without her students around her. Her calm, friendly nature is a pleasure to be around and her talent for asking thought-provoking questions keeps all students thinking and engaged. She is a natural learner and passes this love of learning on to each student. Stacy teaches academic lessons, but also emphasizes practical life and social skills. Ms. Krejci’s goal is to prepare all her students for all aspects of the world and higher education.

As a child, Ms Krejci loved to build things. Learning how things worked and creating new things became her passion. While studying sculpture at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), Stacy created a piece that spoke to society’s influence on children. As she researched teaching philosophies, she was introduced to The Absorbent Mind by Maria Montessori. The book resonated so strongly with Stacy that she returned to school for a degree in Early Childhood Education and then completed her elementary Montessori training at the Montessori Institute of Milwaukee (MIM).

In her classroom, instead of molding clay or metal, she molds and inspires young minds to seek creativity and encourages students as they problem-solve during their lessons. While supporting each student, she provides caring and honest feedback. She is tuned into each student’s needs and tailors her lessons and teaching accordingly.

What are you happiest doing when you are not teaching?

Exploring the world with my family. My husband, my son, a dog, and two toads. But it doesn’t end there. I really can’t express how amazing all of my close and extended family is. They are the best!!!

My favorite part of the school day is...

When a child tells me about something that they just figured out. (The ah-ha moment)

What is something you bring to teaching?

I am interested in everything. I love to learn and explore new and old things. I’m not afraid to try most things (for example dissections with the children in class). I listen to the children. I understand the stage of development they’re in and can find developmentally appropriate solutions to the problems they’re faced with. And I want to collaborate with parents when their child is faced with challenges.

My goal is to prepare the children I work with for the world outside of New World and give them the skills to overcome any obstacle they face. I do my best to make sure they do their best

Read about enrollment, tuition, discounts and options for before and after-school care. Learn about how classroom supplies are included in tuition and other class offerings including Spanish and music.

We understand the importance of nurturing a child’s natural ability to care for others, help those in need, and learn through first-hand adventures. Our students know the impact they can have locally and globally.

The Montessori approach respects the needs of each child, allowing them to develop at their own pace. This increases confidence and creates opportunities for rich exploration at every stage of learning.
